Duff Roblin Parkway Trail running along floodway opens - Winnipeg Free Press

Rivers West is pleased to see recommendations from the Floodway Recreation Study conducted between 2004 & 2006 being implemented.  Access and connectivity between existing and new trails continues to improve and is creating an incredible active transportation recreation corridor from Emerson all the way to Lake Winnipeg.

Celebrating 200 Years of Farming Experience

 This year marks the 200th anniversary of the arrival of the Selkirk Settlers in Manitoba from Scotland in 1812 and the 200th anniversary of agriculture in Manitoba.

Events and activities will take place throughout the year commemorating the dedication and perseverance by the Selkirk Settlers to cultivate the land and make this location their home.
